Easter Sunday is a day of celebration
surviving through the dark days of persecutions
Evolving from the ancient times
Midnight and morning masses
with blessing of fire & water
rituals and family gatherings
with mother’s tasty dishes to expect
fond memories with Easter were connected
Shattering Motherland with ferocious scare
Terrorists attacked innocents with no care
Easter bombings were headlines everywhere
Twenty nineteen made a chasm unable to repair
In the darkness of uncertain destiny of lives
Hate the devil erupted with glee in minds
Mud slings, hate speech suffering sadness
all that the terrorists has given as Easter Eggs
So Easter Sunday will never be the same
May the world never experience such a catastrophe!
